How long have you been a photographer?
Chanda has been photographing families, babies, and children for over a decade. She loves watching families grow and capturing each stage along the way.

Where do you recommend having family photos done?
The perfect location is an important part of the session. If you have a place that is sentimental to your family, we would love to hear about it. We can also recommend locations based on your family size, the time of year, and the overall look you want. For smaller families or during very hot or cold months, a studio session may be the best fit. For larger families, outdoor locations usually give more room to move and create variety.

What should we wear?
Family photos should feel timeless while still showing your family’s personality. We recommend coordinating instead of matching. Soft neutrals, simple colors, and subtle patterns usually photograph best.

A few helpful tips:

• Avoid bold stripes, busy plaid, or large logos.

• Choose a few coordinating colors instead of everyone wearing the exact same thing.

• Add personality with accessories like scarves, necklaces, hats, or layering pieces.

• Keep the overall look comfortable and true to your family.

What ages do you photograph?
All ages are welcome. Whether your children are little, grown, or somewhere in between, we love photographing the whole family.

What if my children do not behave?
Do not stress. Kids are kids, and that is completely okay. Instead of putting pressure on them to “behave,” we keep the session relaxed, playful, and fun. Sometimes the best images come from real moments, movement, laughter, and connection.

What if the forecast says rain?
Florida weather can change quickly, so we will keep an eye on the forecast as your session gets closer. If it looks like rain or unsafe weather, we will work with you to reschedule. Cloudy skies can actually create beautiful, soft light, so as long as it is not raining, the session may still work perfectly.

Do you have experience with special needs children?
Yes. Chanda has photographed many children with special needs and understands the importance of patience, flexibility, and creating a safe, comfortable environment. Please let us know your child’s needs ahead of time so we can plan the session around what will make them feel most comfortable.
