Where do you recommend having family photos done?
The perfect location is an important part of the photo session. I’d love to know if there is a place that is sentimental to your family so we can discuss our options and plan the best location to suit your family. Depending on the family size and the time of year, the answer will vary. For smaller families, or during the very hot or very cold months, a studio session would work best. For larger families, outdoor sessions will allow for more room to move around and give more variety.

What should we wear?
This photo shoot is meant to capture your family, including individuality and style. Helpful tips to keep in mind when choosing outfits:

• Think coordinating, not matching. Try to stick with simple and subtle patterns rather than bold stripes or plaid.

• Don’t be afraid of color! Choose a few neutral colors, and then add a few bright accents to your outfits. Accessories such as scarves, necklaces, and clothing layers are great for this.

• No logos please. To keep the look timeless, try to avoid trendy clothing with words or logos.

What ages do you photograph?
If they belong to you, they are your babies, and we welcome everyone of all ages!

What if my children don't behave?
Don't stress! Instead of telling your kids that we’re going to have photos taken, tell them that we’re going to have an adventure and go play at the park or beach! We aim to capture interaction with you and your children so chances are, some beautiful natural shots will come out of it without any pressure,

What if the forecast says rain?
We will make that call the day of the shoot. As you know, here in Florida, things can change at the last minute, and if you had your heart set on photos, cloudy skies make some of the most beautiful images! As long as it's not pouring!

Have you had experience with special needs children?
Yes indeed! I have photographed many clients with special needs and have captured some of my favorite images with them!
